What is Symposium AI?
An AI workbench for debates and multi-model chats. Compare responses side-by-side, design reusable personalities, and bring your own API keys for maximum privacy. Available on Web, iOS, and Android.
Is the experience the same on all platforms?
The core features are identical across Web, iOS, and Android. However, the trial experience and subscription management differ by platform. See below for details.
🌐Web App
How does the web app work?
Sign up for free, add your API keys, and get 15 free interactions. After that, you get a 7-day free trial with unlimited interactions. Then subscribe for $5.99/month to continue.
Is there a demo mode on web?
No. Unlike the mobile apps, the web version requires API keys to function. You'll need to add at least one API key before you can create chats, debates, or comparisons.
Are my API keys secure on web?
Yes. Your API keys are encrypted and stored securely in our cloud database. We use a proxy solution so your keys are never exposed in the browser — requests are routed securely through our servers to each AI provider.
How do I subscribe on web?
After your 15 free interactions and 7-day trial, you'll be prompted to subscribe via web payment. Manage your subscription in your account settings.
📱Mobile Apps (iOS & Android)
Is there a free Demo on mobile?
Yes! Demo mode lets you explore the full navigation, preferences, and play sample recorded debates, chats, and comparisons — no account or keys required. Due to App Store policies, creating new sessions and adding API keys requires starting a free 7-day trial.
How does the 7-day trial work on mobile?
Start the trial to unlock all features for 7 days. Add your API keys, create new sessions, and access History. At the end of the trial, your subscription automatically converts to $5.99/month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
How do I cancel on mobile?
- iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Symposium AI → Cancel Subscription
- Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Cancel
Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.

See side-by-side answers from different models or providers with synchronized prompts and live streaming.
Continue from History
Resume any chat or comparison. We rehydrate recent context by re-injecting messages so the conversation continues naturally.
Expert Mode
Set per-provider defaults and advanced parameters (temperature, max tokens), then override per session when needed.
BYOK and security
Do I need API keys?
For the mobile Demo mode, no. For all other features across all platforms, yes — add keys from providers you choose (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.).
Where are my keys stored?
- Mobile: On your device only, encrypted via the OS keystore. Requests go directly from your device to each provider.
- Web: Encrypted and stored securely in our cloud database. We use a proxy so keys are never exposed in your browser.
On both platforms, your keys are never visible to us in plain text.
How much will usage cost?
Provider pricing varies by model and tokens. You're billed by each provider for your usage. Expert Mode helps you choose models and understand trade-offs.

$5.99/month on all platforms. API provider usage fees (from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.) are separate and billed by each provider.
What's included with the subscription?
All premium features: collaborate with multiple AIs, custom debates, reusable personalities, Compare, continue from History, and more.
Mobile refunds follow Apple or Google store policies. Web subscription issues can be resolved via Support.
